Overview
Golden Triangle with Tigers
Experience the quintessential cultural circuit of northern India paired with premier tiger habitats on this curated fourteen-day wildlife expedition. Beginning in Delhi, the route connects the classical Golden Triangle, starting with the imperial halls of Agra Fort and a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal before journeying to Bharatpur. Along the way, visit the deserted Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri and spend a full day birdwatching in Keoladeo National Park via eco-friendly rickshaw. Moving into Rajasthan, explore the Pink City of Jaipur with walks through traditional bazaars, the hilltop ramparts of Amber Fort, the City Palace complex, and the astronomical observatory of Jantar Mantar.
Leaving the urban heritage behind, the expedition ventures into India’s premier tiger reserves. Spend three nights in Ranthambore National Park tracking Royal Bengal tigers across rocky outcrops and historic jungle fortress ruins over five comprehensive game drives. Board an overnight train to Madhya Pradesh to enter Bandhavgarh National Park, famed for having one of the highest densities of tigers in the world. Following five dedicated safaris across distinct forest zones, fly back from Jabalpur to Delhi to conclude with explorations of Old and New Delhi’s historic monuments before your onward departure.
