Overview
The Golden Triangle
Experience the quintessential cultural circuit of northern India on this classic six-day journey connecting Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra. The tour begins in Delhi, introducing travellers to the capital’s layered landmarks, from the ceremonial boulevard of Rajpath to the towering thirteenth-century Qutub Minar, the serene Lotus Temple, and the sprawling Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple complex. Travelling southwest into Rajasthan, the journey reaches Jaipur, where the evening Aarti ceremony at Birla Mandir and an open-top Jeep exploration through illuminated avenues introduce the royal charm of the Pink City.
Jaipur’s regal history unfolds with visits to the hilltop ramparts of Amber Fort, the courtyards and royal collections of the City Palace, the astronomical instruments of Jantar Mantar, and the landmark façade of Hawa Mahal. Heading east toward Agra, pause to explore the fortified sandstone courtyards of the abandoned Mughal capital at Fatehpur Sikri. In Agra, enjoy sunset views of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River at Mehtab Bagh, witness the monument bathed in early-morning light at sunrise, and explore the red sandstone Agra Fort before returning to Delhi.
