Day by Day
Day 01 – Arrival in Colombo – Pinnawala – Transfer to Sigiriya
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo.
Meet and assistance upon arrival by Kanishka Holiday Makers representative and board your private air-conditioned vehicle.
Drive toward Pinnawala (approx. 80 km / 2.5 hours) to visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, observing resident elephant herds during their daily routine and river bath.
Continue inland into the Cultural Triangle toward Sigiriya (approx. 95 km / 2.5 hours).
Check into the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

Day 02 – Sigiriya Rock Fortress – Minneriya Wildlife Jeep Safari
Following breakfast, make an early morning ascent of the 5th-century Sigiriya Rock Fortress, exploring the landscaped water gardens, mirror wall, fresco pockets, and summit ruins.
In the afternoon, embark on an open 4×4 wildlife jeep safari inside Minneriya National Park, tracking herds of wild Asian elephants grazing along the grasslands and reservoir shores.
Return to the hotel in Sigiriya for dinner and rest.

Day 03 – Sigiriya to Trincomalee – East Coast Transition
Depart Sigiriya after breakfast, driving northeast toward the coastal harbour town of Trincomalee (approx. 100 km / 2.5 hours).
Check into the hotel upon arrival and enjoy the afternoon at leisure along the white-sand beaches of the eastern coast.

Day 04 – Trincomalee Sightseeing – Coastal Shrines & Geothermal Wells
Following breakfast, visit Fort Frederick and walk up the cliff paths of Swami Rock to the sacred Koneswaram Kovil, overlooking the sea and Lovers Leap.
Stop at the sacred Kanniya Hot Water Springs to observe the seven geothermal wells.
Return to the resort to relax by the ocean or explore local coastal fishing communities.

Day 05 – Trincomalee to Kandy via Spice Gardens
Depart Trincomalee after breakfast, driving southwest toward the royal hill capital of Kandy (approx. 180 km / 4 hours).
Stop en route in Matale for a guided walking tour through an authentic spice garden to discover how cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and regional herbs are cultivated.
Arrive in Kandy, check into the hotel, and take an orientation drive along Upper Lake Drive and Market Square.
Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) and attend an evening performance of traditional Kandyan cultural dances and drumming.

Day 07 – Nuwara Eliya to Bentota via Sita Eliya
