Three Jyotirlinga & Shirdi Express
This focused four-day spiritual expedition covers three of Maharashtra’s five sacred Jyotirlingas alongside the revered pilgrimage township of Shirdi. Starting from Pune, the journey ascends into the Sahyadri wildlife hills to Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga, where the Bhima River originates amidst dense evergreen forests.
The route proceeds northwest across the Western Ghats to Nashik for Darshan at Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, nestled at the foot of Brahmagiri Mountain. Journeying across the fertile Deccan plains, devotees arrive in Shirdi for prayers at the peaceful Samadhi Mandir of Sai Baba, followed by a visit to the open-air black-stone shrine of Shani Shingnapur. The pilgrimage culminates at the 12th holy Jyotirlinga, Grishneshwar, and the adjacent monolithic marvel of Cave 16 (Kailasa Temple) at Ellora before final departure.

Itinerary
Day by Day
Day 01 – Pune to Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga & Nashik
Morning pickup from Pune (Airport, Railway Station, or residence) by your private vehicle.
Drive into the Sahyadri mountains toward the holy Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga Temple (approx. 110 km / 3 hours).
Complete Darshan at the ancient shrine surrounded by dense rainforest reserves, revered as the source of the Bhima River.
In the afternoon, descend the ghats and drive toward the pilgrimage hub of Nashik (approx. 210 km / 4.5 hours).
Check in to your hotel in Nashik and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 02 – Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, Panchavati & Shirdi
Early morning drive to the foothills of Brahmagiri Mountain to visit Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple (approx. 30 km / 45 minutes).
Complete special Darshan of the holy sanctum.
Return to Nashik city to visit historic Panchavati: walk the banks of Ram Kund, explore Sita Gufa, and visit the black-stone Kalaram Temple.
Following lunch, drive toward the sacred township of Shirdi (approx. 85 km / 2 hours).
Check in to your hotel in Shirdi and take time to freshen up.
In the evening, visit the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple Complex for Darshan at the Samadhi Mandir, Dwarkamai, and attend the devotional Aarti.

Day 03 – Shirdi to Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga, Ellora & Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
Early morning optional attendance at Kakad Aarti in Shirdi.
Following breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive toward Shani Shingnapur (approx. 70 km / 1.5 hours) to offer prayers at the open-air black-stone shrine.
Proceed via the Samruddhi Mahamarg expressway toward Ellora (approx. 100 km / 2 hours).
Visit the sacred Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, the 12th holy Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva, admiring its sculpted red-basalt Maratha architecture.
Explore the adjacent UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ellora Caves, focusing on the monolithic wonder of Cave 16 (Kailasa Temple).
Drive to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) (approx. 30 km / 45 minutes) and check in to your hotel for an evening at leisure.
(Note: Ellora Caves remain closed on Tuesdays.)

Day 04 – Daulatabad Fort & Final Departure
Following breakfast at the hotel, complete check-out formalities.
Visit the medieval hill stronghold of Daulatabad Fort (Devagiri); walk across the defensive moat, view the 14th-century Chand Minar, and navigate the labyrinthine Andhari passage.
In the afternoon, proceed for your onward journey transit:
Transfer to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) Airport or Railway Station for onward flights/trains, OR
Board your private vehicle for a return road transfer back to Pune via Ahmednagar (approx. 235 km / 5 hours) with drop-off at your residence/station.
